These Terms of Service govern your use of the Monorail AI platform and all associated services. By creating an account or using Monorail AI, you agree to be bound by these terms. Last updated: 22nd April 2026 (V4.0.0).
The following definitions apply throughout these Terms of Service:
  • Platform — the Monorail AI web application, APIs, and any associated software made available at mnrl.app and related domains.
  • Services — all AI-powered tools and features provided through the Platform, including Chat, Writer (Presets), Image Generator (Imagine), Video, Coder, Transcriber, Voiceover, Voice Isolator, and Classifier.
  • User — any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Platform, whether under a free or paid plan.
  • Content — any text, images, audio, video, code, or other material that you submit, upload, or input into the Platform.
  • Output — any text, images, audio, video, code, or other material generated by the Services in response to your Content.
  • Third-Party Providers — the external AI model providers integrated into the Platform, including OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Cohere, ElevenLabs, Speechify, and FalAI.
By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies incorporated by reference, including the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Monorail AI Ltd. Where you use the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.Monorail AI reserves the right to refuse access to any person or entity at its sole discretion.
Monorail AI acts as an intermediary that provides access to AI models and tools operated by Third-Party Providers. The quality, accuracy, and availability of Outputs depend on those Third-Party Providers and the nature of generative AI technology.Monorail AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any Output for any particular purpose. Outputs are probabilistic by nature and may contain errors, omissions, or content that is factually incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all Outputs before relying on or publishing them.
To access the Services, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account, whether authorised by you or not
  • Notifying Monorail AI immediately at support@mnrl.app if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account
Monorail AI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You must not:
  • Use the Platform to generate, distribute, or facilitate content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Attempt to generate content that sexualises minors (CSAM) or depicts non-consensual acts
  • Use the Platform to develop competing AI products or services or to reverse-engineer the underlying models
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access control measures
  • Transmit malware, spam, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Platform or third-party systems
  • Misrepresent the origin of Outputs, including impersonating any person or organisation
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform except as expressly permitted by an applicable API agreement
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Services without prior written authorisation from Monorail AI
  • Use the Platform in any way that violates the terms or acceptable use policies of Third-Party Providers
Monorail AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of this section without notice or refund.
Outputs generated by the Services are produced by probabilistic AI models and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You assume full responsibility for your use of any Output.
You acknowledge that:
  • AI models may produce incorrect, biassed, or unexpected results
  • Outputs do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including legal, medical, financial, or technical advice
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and taking responsibility for any Output before relying on it or sharing it with others
  • Monorail AI is not liable for any decisions made or actions taken based on Outputs generated through the Platform
You agree to use Outputs responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
The Services depend on Third-Party Providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Cohere, ElevenLabs, Speechify, and FalAI. Monorail AI has no control over the availability, performance, or policies of these providers. Your use of their models through the Platform is also subject to their respective terms of service and acceptable use policies.Monorail AI is not responsible for any interruption, degradation, or change to the Services caused by Third-Party Providers. Monorail AI reserves the right to add, remove, or replace Third-Party Providers at any time without notice.
Access to the Services is provided through a credit-based subscription model. The following plans are available:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • All payments are processed through a third-party payment provider. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in the Refund Policy.
  • Credits allocated under a subscription plan do not roll over to the next billing period.
  • Monorail AI reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Changes will be communicated with reasonable notice before the next billing cycle.
Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation. Credits are consumed as you use the Services, at rates that vary by model and content type. Monorail AI reserves the right to implement fair use limits to ensure equitable access for all users.If your usage is determined to be abusive, automated, or inconsistent with fair use principles, Monorail AI may throttle, restrict, or suspend your access without prior notice.
Your Content — You retain all ownership rights in the Content you submit to the Platform. By submitting Content, you grant Monorail AI a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, and display your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Services.Outputs — Subject to the terms of the applicable Third-Party Providers, you are granted a licence to use Outputs you generate through the Platform. You represent that your use of Outputs complies with all applicable laws and the terms of Third-Party Providers.Platform — All rights in the Platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, are owned by Monorail AI Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Platform intellectual property to you.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your Content and usage data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. This includes transmission of your inputs to Third-Party Providers for the purpose of generating Outputs.You are responsible for ensuring that any Content you submit does not include personal data of third parties without a lawful basis, and that your use of the Platform complies with applicable data protection law.
You must not submit confidential, sensitive, or regulated data to the Platform unless you have verified that doing so is appropriate under applicable law and the terms of relevant Third-Party Providers. This includes, but is not limited to, personal health information, financial data, government-issued identification numbers, or classified information.Monorail AI is not liable for any consequences arising from your submission of such data to the Platform or to Third-Party Providers.
Monorail AI aims to maintain high availability of the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or issues beyond Monorail AI’s control.Support is provided via email at support@mnrl.app. Monorail AI does not guarantee specific response times, though the team aims to respond to all requests promptly. Support availability may vary by plan.
Monorail AI may make beta or experimental features available from time to time. These features are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Your use of beta features is at your sole risk. Monorail AI is not liable for any data loss or other harm arising from the use of beta features.
Monorail AI reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if:
  • You breach these Terms or any applicable policy
  • Your use of the Platform poses a risk to other users, the Platform, or third parties
  • Required by law or by a Third-Party Provider
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@mnrl.app. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. No refund is issued for unused credits or subscription time unless required by law.
The Platform and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monorail AI disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of information.Monorail AI does not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any errors will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Monorail AI’s total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount paid by you to Monorail AI in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100.
Monorail AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services, even if Monorail AI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Monorail AI Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
  • Your use of the Platform or Services
  • Your Content or Outputs and any consequences of their use or publication
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your violation of the rights of any third party
Monorail AI is not liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, pandemics, or failures of Third-Party Providers.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.
Monorail AI may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.Your continued use of the Platform after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
