# Text to Speech: Generate lifelike voiceovers from text

The Voiceover tool transforms any written text into natural, lifelike speech. With 500+ voices available across multiple languages and accents — powered by ElevenLabs and Speechify — you can produce professional narration, podcasts, audiobooks, or accessibility audio in minutes.

## Creating a voiceover

    Click **Voiceover** in the sidebar of your Monorail AI dashboard.

  <Step title="Enter your text">
    Type or paste the text you want to convert to speech into the input area.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a voice">
    Browse the voice library and select a voice. You can filter by language, accent, gender, or style to find the right match.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Generate">
    Submit your text and selected voice to start audio generation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Preview and download">
    Listen to the generated audio in your browser. When you're satisfied, download the file.

## Voice providers

## Tips for natural-sounding audio

* Add punctuation and paragraph breaks to improve pacing and rhythm.
* Use commas and ellipses to create natural pauses in the speech.
* Test different voices on a short sample before generating a long script.
