# AI Video Generator: Turn prompts into high-quality video

The Video Generator lets you create high-quality AI videos without any editing skills. Simply upload one or more images and enter a text prompt describing the motion or scene — Monorail AI handles the rest, using leading video models from FalAI, xAI, and OpenAI.

## Creating a video

    Click **Video** in the sidebar of your Monorail AI dashboard.

  <Step title="Upload source images">
    Upload one or more images to use as source material. This step is optional but recommended for best results.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Write a prompt">
    Describe the motion, scene, or style you want the video to portray.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select a video model">
    Choose a model based on quality, speed, and the credit rate that suits your needs.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Generate">
    Submit your settings and wait for the video to render. Generation may take 30 seconds to a few minutes depending on clip length and model.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download your video">
    Once processing is complete, download the finished video file.

## Tips for better videos

* Upload clear, high-resolution images as source material

* Keep prompts concise but specific
* Start with shorter clips to preview the style before generating longer videos
